Who are we

Our Founder Roger is a Trinidadian who came to Australia with his wife Robyn and family in 1989. Robyn, an Australian spent over 20 years living in the Caribbean after falling in love with the people, the culture, the music and wanted to help Roger recreate some of this back home in Australia.

Sharing their love of Carnival they were passionate about introducing it for the benefit of the Caribbean diaspora in Melbourne and the wider Australian community and set about doing that as a Team.

The most prominent and obvious choice for this was the fabulous Moomba Parade for which they had entries from 1994 to 2000 and from 2014 to 2019 gaining many followers and admirers nationally and internationally.

What we do

For each Parade, our entry to the Carnival is based on a ‘New Theme’ for the parade and celebrations.

We don’t just organise and participate - All of the costumes are designed and manufactured by us from home, where the prototypes are made for individuals to make their personal selection from our designs - all are custom made to fit… you’ll look amazing!!!

Once the design has been selected you will be able to purchase your ‘customised’ Costume and not only use this to participate in the Carnival but any carnival in the future.

Our passion is to see as many participants enjoy the festival which is why we source our products and materials locally and internationally to ensure costs are kept to a minimum.

Our history

Carnival is a very large part of Caribbean culture which is celebrated annually in all Caribbean Islands and which has gained popularity Worldwide, e.g. Nottinghill Festival in London and Caribana in Toronto.

Carnival can best be described as the’ enjoyment of free spirited individuals’ dressed in fabulous costumes and dancing in the streets to pulsating Calypso music… an infusion bringing together the joys of the Caribbean Culture and Music for all to celebrate.
